Plans and Subscriptions
BeePass offers four plans tailored to every breeder profile. From the free Discovery plan to a custom selection programme, you will find the plan that suits your needs.

Switch to yearly billing to benefit from a 20% discount on the Breeder and Selector plans. Toggle between monthly and yearly from the Pricing page using the Monthly / Yearly switch.
Features by Plan
Discovery (Free)
The Discovery plan gives you access to the BeePass basics:
- Genetic passport and QR codes
- Access to the BeePass Index (breeder directory)
- Community chat and direct messages
- Basic beekeeping calendar
Breeder
The Breeder plan adds full management of your stock:
- Everything in the Discovery plan
- Unlimited management of F0 and F1 queens
- Evaluation entry and tracking
- Data import (Excel, BeeBreed, Index Mellifera)
- Priority support centre
Selector
The Selector plan includes advanced genetic analysis tools:
- Everything in the Breeder plan
- Estimated breeding values (EBV) and reliability
- Mating recommendations via BeeMatch
- Inbreeding calculation (AINV)
- Full API export
Selection Programme
The Programme plan is designed for organisations and research centres. The functional scope is defined on a custom basis. Contact us to obtain a quote.
Subscribing or Changing Plans
- Go to Settings (profile icon in the top-right corner)
- Open the Billing tab
- Click on the desired plan
- You are redirected to the secure Stripe payment page
- Enter your payment details and confirm
The plan change takes effect immediately. If you switch from a monthly to a yearly plan, the amount is recalculated on a prorated basis.
Trial Period
The Breeder and Selector plans offer a 30-day free trial. During this period:
- A blue badge indicates the number of days remaining in the Billing tab
- No charge is made before the end of the trial
- You can cancel at any time at no cost
When the trial period expires, your card is automatically charged. If you do not wish to continue, cancel before the end of the trial via the Stripe customer portal.
Stripe Customer Portal
From the Billing tab, click Manage My Subscription to access the Stripe customer portal. There you can:
- Update your payment method (credit card)
- View and download your invoices in PDF format
- Change your plan (upgrade or downgrade)
- Cancel your subscription
Status Indicators
The Billing tab displays a colour badge based on your subscription status:

| Blue | Trial | Trial period in progress (X days remaining) |
| Red | Unpaid | Payment failed, action required |
If your payment fails, BeePass notifies you by email. Update your payment method via the Stripe portal as soon as possible to avoid a service interruption.
Cancellation
Cancellation is done through the Stripe customer portal. Your access to the plan's features remains active until the end of the current billing period. Your data (queens, evaluations, pedigree) is never deleted.
