Plan Bee is the Australian beekeeping selection program. BeePass supports its CSV exports with semi-automatic mapping adapted to the format's variability.

Format​

The Plan Bee format is a CSV file whose columns vary depending on the export configuration:

  • Fixed columns: queen identification, breeder code, year
  • Variable columns: evaluation traits, production data, pedigree information

The number and names of columns depend on the Plan Bee version and the export options chosen by the user.

Detection​

Detection is semi-automatic. BeePass identifies typical Plan Bee patterns in column headers and proposes an initial mapping. You must confirm the correspondences before import.

Import​

The import wizard proceeds in 3 steps:

  1. Detection: BeePass analyzes headers and identifies the Plan Bee format
  2. Mapping: a correspondence table is proposed between your columns and BeePass fields — review and adjust
  3. Validation: a preview of transformed data is displayed before the final import
Format variability

Plan Bee exports may vary by software version. If automatic detection fails, use the Custom CSV / Excel import with AI-assisted mapping.
